How To Get Longer, Darker Lashes Naturally!

The eyes are one of the first thing someone notices about you so you want to make a lasting impression. Everyone lusts after the long, dark, and full looking lashes. Maybe people get lash extensions, but $200 a month and sitting in a chair for an hour at a time? No thank you! I don’t have time for that. Today, I am sharing with you how to get the look of lash extensions with just 3 products and no time in a chair. Let’s get longer, darker looking lashes that are natural and only takes 3 mins max!

Fun fact: I did my own makeup for my wedding
I even used these products/routine for my wedding makeup it’s that good!

First, the products

We need to talk about the products that I use before we get to the steps.

RF Lash Boost – Lash serum

This serum is the best hands down that I have tried. I’ve tried Babe Lash in like 2012 and it worked but it only grew like half of my lashes on my eye. I don’t know if I didn’t apply it right (every single night) or if it was a defective bottle but it didn’t work right.

I started using lash boost in 2018 and have never looked back! You can use this on your eyelashes as well as your eyebrows if you need some extra hair. It also helps condition your lashes to help with breakage (like your hair)!

Another before and after if you don’t believe me 😉

Mascara – Covergirl & L’Oreal

The trick (besides a lash growth serum) is to use 2 mascara’s. I use 1 for volume and 1 for length and separating.

First is the volumizing one. In the past, I have used the L’Oreal Paradise in the pink tube, but after a while, it didn’t work as well as it once did. So, I switched to the Covergirl Exhibitionist mascara for the volume layer. It’s better a week after opening it so it get a little thicker.

Next I use my holy grail, L’Oreal Telescopic. I think it’s the brush that really makes this mascara. It really helps with the length and separation of the lashes. Note that on it’s own, it’s different and doesn’t give the full effect. You NEED the volumizing one underneath.

RF Eye Makeup Remover

I don’t use water proof mascara because it is terrible for your lashes and can break them over time because of you vigorously rubbing to get it off at night. But I still will use an eye makeup remover if I can’t get all my mascara off at night. You need clean lashes to apply the lash serum and to get the best look in the morning with your mascara.

Step-By-Step

Okay, so first it begins at night. You need to take off all the eye makeup from the day. I like to take off my makeup with the Makeup Eraser cloth (blog post here) but sometimes I need a little bit more help.

Insert eye makeup remover. This isn’t alway needed, but it’s good to have if you need it. Use a gauze pad to use with the remover so you don’t linties all over your eyelashes.

Next, make sure your eyes are dry and no residue from your makeup remover is on your lash line. Get your lash boost and swipe RIGHT at the top lash line on each eye. Super easy for longer, darker lashes, right?!

**You only need to use it on the top line because it will transfer to your lower lashes as you blink

**Apply right on your lash line (not your skin) to avoid a dark line

Once you are ready to put your makeup on in the morning, apply the volumizing mascara to your top lashes. Focus at the root of your lashes for the volume. Wiggle at the base and brush up.

Now the lengthening mascara. Go over the first volumizing layer with 1 to 2 coats till you get the desired length look you want. Also apply to your lower lash line.

**If you want more fullness at the base of your lash line, tight line your upper lash line with black eyeliner

**To look more awake, add nude or white liner to the bottom tight line

There you have it! Super easy with my favorite products. I want to try some eyelash curlers to help open my eyes a bit, but I’m a little skeptical because I’ve had some breakage in the past. I want to try some NOT DRUGSTORE, CHEAP ones and test them out to see if there is a real difference myself.

If you guys try these products out, let me know what you think! And if you want a discount on the lash boost, message me!
