HOW TO STYLE: Joggers

Welcome to a new series for How To Style! If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you are missing out on getting your ideas and feedback on what I should style for you. In this episode, we are styling Jogger. It started off as outfit inspiration for the Stay at home Mom who wants to look cute but still be able to run around with the kiddos. You can also use these ideas for running errands!

All of these outfits can be worn with leggings and jeans if that is your preferred bottom to wear. I decided to choose to base all these outfits around joggers because they are so versatile.

1. Joggers & a T

Joggers | White T | Denim Jacket | Backpack | Sandals

Notice the tight ankle on the jogger, this is what you want instead of a straight leg.

**Tip: Crewnecks look the best in my opinion.

**Tip: Make sure your denim jacket is fitted. Meaning hits at your hip bone and the arms are fitted not oversized to wear with everything in your wardrobe.

2.Joggers & a Button-Down

Joggers | Denim Button-Up | Baseball Hat | Cross Body Bag | White Platform Sneakers

These particular joggers are too baggy for this look in my opinion. They are also more sweatpants than joggers, but close enough for pictures

**Tip: Tuck the front of the button up into the front of the joggers and roll so it looks more of an intentional tuck.

**Tip: Wear your hair in a low messy bun in the hat.

3.Joggers & a Sweatshirt

Joggers | Sweatershirt | Dress Coat | Tote Bag | White Platform Sneakers

This sweatshirt is cropped so it doesn’t (and can’t) be tucked it. This is the only one close to what I wanted in stores, but linked is a better option

**Tip: Have your sweatshirt fitted, not oversized. You don’t want a baggy top and baggy bottom.

**Tip: This would look great with a slicked-back low bun.

Makeup & Hair Ideas

When I say makeup I mean face… let me elaborate.

If you don’t want to worry about having to wear makeup but still look put together, there are some things you can do.

SKINCARE – take care of yourself and have some skincare in your self-care. CURL LASHES – this opens up your eyes.
MASCARA – adds a little oomph. You can also get a lash lift & tint or lash extensions if you’re into that.
LIP BALM – add some color, but also take care of your lips. Here is my lip care routine.

Hair Ideas:

  • High Ponytail
  • Low Slicked Back Bun
  • Wear a Hat
  • Sleep in Braids
  • Half Up

**Tip: Find a style (curled, waved, etc) that can last a few days so you can refresh it with dry shampoo and texture.

I hope this was helpful and give you some ideas on what to wear! Follow me on Instagram to help choose what we should style next!
