To say I LOVE hair accessories is an understatement. I have a plethora of hair clips, headbands, and scrunchies. Buying different types of hair accessories has helped me narrow down ones that are better than others and where to buy hair accessories.

Hair Clips
Hair clips, pins, barrettes, snaps, there are a lot of different types. You can find some good ones on Amazon, Forever21, Nordstrom Rack, and sometimes the Dollar Tree. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on these. Why? Well, just because.
One of my friends just launched some adorable hair clips on her website! If you purchase anything, use my code “Annie10” to get 10% off to support a small business and get cute hair clips.
I have these and come in different colors:

*Tip: If you find hair clips don’t stay in your hair, try bobby pinning the hair first. Then you can add the clip on top of the hair. Only clip it on the top section so it doesn’t feel like it has to hold the entire hair in place.
Hair Bows
Bows can seem little girl-ish, but I don’t care, I love ’em! Whether they are on a headband, on a barrette, or scrunchie, I want it. They look cute with your hair half up, clipped in the back or on the side of a headband.
*Tip: To not look like a little girl, don’t wear an outfit that would look like a little girl would wear it. Like a shirt under a sleeveless dress, overalls, a backpack, you get the idea.

Headbands
When I think of headbands, I think of Blair for Gossip Girl and I’m 100% okay with that. Headbands are just so effortless and can add a lot or just enough of a simple touch to any look.
I like adding one when my hair is down but also with an updo if I want to look to be focused on the front of my face instead of the back of my head like it would with a bow or clips in the back.
I like to find headbands at Target, H&M, and even sometimes the Dollar Tree, but that is a little hunt. Here are some of my recent favorites:

There are obviously a bunch of other types of hair accessories out there but these 3 are my favorites and go-tos. They are the most versatile in my opinion.
Do you wear hair accessories? What are your favorites?
