Gift-giving season is upon us! If you want to give the gift of healthy hair or get the gift of healthy hair, I have the guide just for you.
I love Kitsch and I’ve used them for years. I use their products if not every day, every other day. Well, technically I use it every day because I use their satin pillowcases.
Here is the video on Pinterest
I love their brand because their products are really good and really good for hair health.
Starting with number one on the list for the healthy hair guide is their satin pillowcases. I have tried random brands from Amazon and Marshalls, but they just don’t hold up in the wash and the dryer as well as these.
I’m not super delicate with them. I just throw them in the washer and dryer and they’re good to go. I use these every single night. They are the only satin pillowcases that I use, and you need a satin pillowcase for healthy hair and healthy skin. So if you don’t have one, grab them.
**Here is a whole blog post about why you need to switch to a satin or silk pillowcase.
Now, another one that I love is claw clips. It’s good to switch up your hairstyle and hairstyle position. Like, let’s say you wear your hair in a ponytail every single day. Switch up the position so that it’s not pulling on the same part of your hair to avoid breakage around your hairline and where your ponytail holder is holding onto your hair.
If you can switch to a claw clip specifically these flat lay claw clips. These are more comfortable than regular claw clips where they’re more for lounging, and they’re just better for your hair in general than any kind of hair tie. So pick these up.
*A little note is that these flat-lay clips don’t hold as much hair as a regular claw clip so keep that in mind mainly if you have long or thick hair.
Satin scrunchies. If you don’t have satin scrunchies……they are like a satin pillowcase. You need them now. You don’t have to completely get rid of the regular hair ties.
I’d maybe go for the Kitsch nylon ones, but these are especially great at night to get your hair up off your body heat to prevent hair damage, but also just so that it’s like a lot gentler on your hair. Satin is a little bit more slippery and it doesn’t pull so tight, causing hair breakage and pulling on your hairline.
And last but not least, I know we’ve all heard of the heatless curls, but if you haven’t and you are living under a rock, this is the one you need.
I’ve tried so many different brands and styles, but this heatless curling rod set by Kitsch is by far the best. This one gives me the easiest and prettiest curls that last in my hair. They will last me until I wash my hair about 2 or 3 days after I take them out.
They will continue to fall if I don’t put it back in and refresh and all that kind of stuff. But I didn’t use any heat on my hair. And we know that heat really does cause a lot of our hair damage besides pollution and just being exposed to life and rough brushing our hair, all that kind of stuff. But this one is by far the best for the price.

Now, is it going to be the most comfortable? No. But are any of them comfortable? No. And if any of them say that they are the most comfortable out there. They’re lying. They’re just not going to be comfortable.
No Heatless method is going to be comfortable to sleep in unless it’s on the top of your head, but those don’t really give you results. I’ve tried those.
This is my healthy hair gift guide. Let me know if there’s anything else from Kitsch that you would recommend putting in this gift guide, or let me know if you pick up any of these.
You can get them at Ulta, you can get them at Target, and of course on the website. And that’s the one thing that I love about them, is you can find them in multiple places and they’re super affordable.
Happy gift-giving and Happy Holidays!
