Comfy Straight-leg Jeans + Oversized Sweater/Sweatshirt

I like wearing jeans but they have to be stretchy and comfy. I feel more productive at work if I have on something structured like jeans. Don’t get me wrong, some days I am in sweatpants but overall I prefer jeans.

I love to feel cozy even when I’m working and a cute oversized sweater or sweatshirt help achieve that.

These are some of my go-to pieces that are affordable.

Matching Set

This is the definition of a mom uniform! No thinking just throw it on in the morning.

I prefer when the top and bottom come together. But you could also find a top and bottom that are close or search for the top and bottom separately. This would make it more unique, but I don’t have time, patience, or really care about being too different when it comes to a matching set.

A matching set could be a sweatsuit set, a sweater set, or even an activewear set.

Leggings and Long Top

Mom outfits usually consist of leggings because they are so comfy, but you can make them fancier for the day.

Either faux leather leggings, leggings with cutouts, or leggings with fun designs mix it up from the regular leggings you work out in.

The top could be a sweater, shirt, blouse really anything to balance out the tighter bottoms.

Leggings, a Fitted Shirt, and Long Cardigan

A fitted look under a chunky cardigan or long duster cardigan gives off a more put-together look for just hanging around the house. But you are still dressed if you need to pick up the kids or grab something from the store last minute.

The tight pieces under the baggy outer layer is a formula to help balance out the look. I don’t typically like tight bottoms with a tight top but this look just works.

Joggers/Fitted sweatpants & Fitted Top

Joggers have been a more recent style of pants (like the last 3 years) and I love that sweatpants are in. You can definitely go super baggy with sweatpants but make sure you have a fitted top.

My recommendation for if you stay home a lot is to have more fitted sweats. Too much ‘baggy’ can make you feel frumpy and just want to lay around.

Joggers are a great option because they look more structured than your regular sweats.
